Porter:Black or chocolate malt gives the porter its dark brown color. Porters are often well hopped and somewhat heavily malted. This is a medium-bodied beer and hoppiness can range from bitter to mild. Porters, in relation to many other stouts, are typically more mild and less aggressively hopped.
